May 2011 - I was struck by the beauty of the flowers and the smells of them. Though once people start burning the dead leaves from the fall before it doesn't smell as good.
May in Moldova has much going for it though- not the least that once the Spring mud dries up it really is a pleasant place to be.
Also the kids finished their schooling for the K and 2nd grade years and we were gearing up for our summer of outreaches.
